Find real life people to contact
Here’s a tip that could keep you busy for years to come:
-Take any niche you are trying to capture. For instance, let’s say you want to get some long tail keywords in the “Acoustic Guitar with Steel Strings in Georgia” realm…
-Then what you would do is do some searches for “Guitars”, “Acoustic Guitars”, or “Georgia Guitars” or some sort of broad search that is going to come up with some pretty good results for polished sites…
-Write up the webmasters of the sites you find and see if you blog about them, or write about them, or help them out in some way, if they would link to you.
-Rinse, wash, repeat. And make sure not to do it so fast that it is impersonal.

Is it worth for the webmaster?
A single post for a “permanent” link?
I don’t think that much webmasters would accept it but i’m gonna try it! ^^
Thanks for the advice!
This is a good idea. I’ve also found that frequently found that when someone ask to link to your site, that it’s good to go back to theirs and comment.
This builds your networking capabilities and results in more visitors to your site.
It’s getting so that long tailed keywords are used quite a bit.
I really don’t understand why yet though. Tommy

Real life people? Wow that is hard…and interestingly enough mostly neglected in seo of today. Rightly so I think. there are easier and better ways than to outright ask for a link (which as you mentioned can take a lifetime).
Very good idea actually. Good thing to consider this before starting your niche so you have some contacts and can get som fast links.

When SEO sites tell you that best way to get relevance for given keywords is to get linked by “competence”, this is, by people who already has that relevance, you feel overhelmed. Surprisingly almost always “competence” is very kind and link you in exchange of almost nothing. Give it a try!
Thats good tips for everyone. Infact I always do the same keyword research if it is longer. I think this will help more to think how broad the market is on that particular niche.
Real life people is so much better. Not only you know them, they are more open and sincere than over the internet. This is a good way for people to widen their contacts aswell.
I don’t think Jesus’ message to me would be any different than it is to me every day. I think He would restate what He reliably says to me.
MY response. . . I imagine that it would be completely different. I visualize the scene something like this:
trading links for work is a great idea! Blog away people content is key.
yes computers surround our life and we must turn our real life…
Very useful piece of nformation indeed! A thorough research is very significant before stepping for any keyword. But Webmasters can really be pretty fruitful for anyone.
Nice and useful piece of information indeed,

Your idea of contacting real people is great. Lately webmasters think only about linking and how to get a link. very few real relationships around.
I think the key of success in online marketing are people, relationships. As long as we do not connect to people, we have nothing to give and we get nothing. Everything we do, website, nice web design, great content, is nothing without people. This is my opinion, that’s why is great you remind us this.
